The basic rules Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a very wide group. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if only have access to the internet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the first years draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held throughout the week. Everyone probably plays mostly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw there is no five, then the fours will have 40% of the pool, and the threes 60%.
