How to read a Lotto draw result
The six balls at the top of the page are the complete set of numbers drawn from a pool of 1–49 — Lotto has no additional or bonus number, so each of the six balls counts the same way. The order in which we display them is ascending and is purely for readability: in the drawing machine they come out in random order, and this has no effect whatsoever on the prize. Next to the numbers you'll find the draw number — and here's something many players don't know: this numbering has been continuous since the very first draw on 27 January 1957. The number does not reset with a new year and does not restart after a change of rules, so the five-digit value next to today's result is simply a running count of all draws in the game's history. One historical detail worth noting: in some years, for example 1991, two draws were held on a single Saturday — which is why archival dates can sometimes have two different draw numbers for the same day.
When the result appears and where we get it from
The Lotto draw begins at 22:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We pull the result from the official API of Totalizator Sportowy, the same one used by lotto.pl — we do not retype numbers by hand from a broadcast, so there's no room for a typo. Our script queries the API every few minutes during the draw window, so the complete set of six numbers usually appears on this page within a dozen or so minutes of the broadcast ending. The prize tier table fills in later, because Totalizator only publishes it after all coupons have been counted — this usually takes until the following morning. So if you already see the numbers but the amounts are still empty, that's normal, not an error. Since 18 August 2026, a Lotto bet costs PLN 5 instead of the previous PLN 3, and along with the price change the lower prize tiers were recalculated — which is why results from before that date show different amounts in the table than current ones.
Lotto prize tiers
In Lotto, matches count starting from three upward, giving four prize tiers. Below is how prizes are divided: Tier I — 6 out of 6 matches, pool of at least PLN 3,000,000; Tier II — 5 of 6, variable amount depending on the pool and number of winners; Tier III — 4 of 6, variable amount, usually several hundred zloty; Tier IV — 3 of 6, fixed prize of PLN 35. The first two tiers are cash prizes split among all who matched them — and this is where the most common misunderstanding comes from. The guaranteed PLN 3 million applies to the top-tier POOL, not the amount for a single person. If three players match all six numbers in a given draw, each of them gets roughly one million, not three million each. The third tier is also split, which is why its amount can range from tens to several thousand zloty. Only the fourth tier is fixed: matching three numbers pays PLN 35 regardless of how many players matched it — before 18 August 2026 it was PLN 24. When nobody matches all six numbers, the pool carries over to the next draw and grows — this is how a jackpot builds up.
What to do next with a Lotto result
If you have your coupon at hand, the fastest way to check it is the coupon checker — you enter your numbers, and comparison against recent draws happens automatically, without counting matches by hand. A result older than a few weeks can be found in the draw table on this page: it can be filtered by year and searched by date and draw number, going all the way back to 1957. If you're interested not in a single result but in how individual numbers have behaved over the years — how many times each of the 49 has come up, when it last appeared and which numbers it tends to appear alongside — take a look at the Lotto statistics. It's worth remembering that none of these numbers predict the future: the balls in the machine have no memory, and every draw is independent of the previous one. Statistics are a curiosity and a way to pick numbers, not a method for winning. Play for entertainment, within your own budget, and participation in number games is permitted only for persons of legal age.
