How to read a Eurojackpot draw result
A Eurojackpot result consists of two rows of balls, and these rows come from two different drums. The first row shows five numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 50 — the same numbers you mark in the upper part of the coupon. The second row shows two Euro numbers, drawn from a separate, much smaller pool of 1 to 12. The number 7 can therefore appear twice in a single draw: once among the five main numbers, once as a Euro number — this is not a mistake, just two independent drums. Without reading the second row you cannot determine your own prize tier, because its level depends not only on how many of the 50 numbers you matched, but also on whether you matched zero, one, or both Euro numbers. Next to the balls we give the draw number — the identifier used by the organiser, which makes it easiest to find a specific draw in the table at the bottom of the page.
When the result appears and where we get it from
Eurojackpot draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 20:00. This time is earlier than in domestic games, because Eurojackpot is drawn outside Poland and the result must reach all participating countries at the same moment. We publish it as soon as it is announced by Totalizator Sportowy on lotto.pl — usually within a dozen or so minutes of the draw. Our service checks this source automatically, so there are no manually retyped numbers on this page. Prize tiers and amounts appear somewhat later than the numbers themselves, because the pool is only divided after coupons from all countries have been counted. Until the operator provides them, only the numbers are visible and the prize table remains empty.
Eurojackpot prize tiers
Eurojackpot has twelve prize tiers, and each one is described by a pair: how many of the 50 numbers and how many of the 12 Euro numbers were matched. The table below shows all combinations that result in a prize. We do not list amounts next to them, because in Eurojackpot they are not fixed in advance — the pool for each tier is divided among all winners from more than a dozen countries, so the same combination may be worth completely different amounts in two consecutive draws. Current amounts for the latest draw can be found in the prize table above this text. | Tier | Matches out of 50 | Euro numbers out of 12 | | --- | --- | --- | | I | 5 | 2 | | II | 5 | 1 | | III | 5 | 0 | | IV | 4 | 2 | | V | 4 | 1 | | VI | 4 | 0 | | VII | 3 | 2 | | VIII | 2 | 2 | | IX | 3 | 1 | | X | 3 | 0 | | XI | 1 | 2 | | XII | 2 | 1 | It's worth noting two places where the tier order seems reversed. Matching two of the 50 numbers and both Euro numbers (tier VIII) ranks higher than matching three of the 50 numbers and one Euro number, and matching one of the 50 numbers with both Euro numbers (tier XI) outranks two numbers with one Euro number. This follows directly from probability theory: the Euro number pool has only 12 positions, so matching both is rarer than intuition suggests. The lowest tier, two of the 50 numbers and one Euro number, is the only prize achievable without matching at least three main numbers.
What to do after checking the result
If you are checking an earlier draw, the table on this page contains the complete Eurojackpot results from 15 September 2017, the day the game entered the Polish offer. The table can be filtered by year and searched by date or draw number. The statistics show how often each of the 50 main numbers has come up, and — separately — how matches are distributed within the pool of Euro numbers; these two sets must be read separately, as they concern drums of completely different sizes. If you have a coupon with several bets, the checker will compare them against the result and show which tier you matched, taking both pools into account at once. A Eurojackpot bet costs PLN 12.50.
