- Since when has Eurojackpot been available in Poland?
- Poland joined Eurojackpot on 15 September 2017. Since that day, tickets sold at Polish outlets have fed into the same shared pool as bets from the other participating countries, and Polish players have access to all prize tiers on the same terms.
- How many numbers do you need to match to win the jackpot?
- You need to match the full set of seven numbers: five from the pool of 1 to 50 and two Euro numbers from the separate pool of 1 to 12. Matching five numbers without either Euro number gives a lower-tier prize but does not reach the jackpot. It is precisely that second pool that makes the top tier fall rarely, rolling the money over to following draws.
- Does buying more bets pay off when the jackpot is high?
- Each additional bet costs PLN 12.50 and gives exactly the same odds as the previous one, regardless of the size of the pool. With a record jackpot, the number of tickets sold across Europe also rises, so the likelihood of the prize being split between several players increases. The decision on how many bets to place is best based on your own budget, not on the amount shown in the jackpot announcement.
What the jackpot does not change: the size of the pool does not affect the probability of winning. The chance of winning the jackpot is identical whether the pool is two million or a hundred million. Only the amount to be shared increases — along with the number of people you might have to share it with.
