The rules game in Mini Lotto are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be typed, one bet is selecting five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of registered forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to browse the history, and deposits and withdrawals of money. For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between 6 and 12 numbers, from general pool of 42. The chances of hitting increases significantly with each of the subsequent numbers, because the total number of individual bets, which result from all existing combinations. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. During system play the value of the prize is increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Basic bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, smartphone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Probably everyone plays mostly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The entire prize pool is half of the sum of bets paid by players, therefore in each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several winnings in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
