The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for a very wide group. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 100 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the special application Lotto installed on phones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there are options to see the history, and withdrawals and deposits of money. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. With system play the value of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

One bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is the same for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held daily. All players play mainly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%.
