At that period the game was known as Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. The main rules Mini Lotto game are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a very wide group. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to 100 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have access to the internet. Another benefit of this type of play is the access to the personal account. On this account all bets are recorded placed bets, there is an option to check the history so far, and deposits and withdrawals of money. For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between six and twelve numbers, from the available forty-two. The chances of winning increases significantly with each additional number, because the total number of simple bets, which result combinations of numbers, which are chosen. For example 6-number system will translate into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. In the case of system play the amount of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Single bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held throughout the week. All players play to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. When in the draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
