What this page does not do: Excludes first employment, where leave accrues monthly. Establish service and months considering other employers, education and 2026 service rules. Leave is recorded in hours: a leave day follows the entered daily standard (normally 8 hours; special standards require confirmed entitlement). Cash settlement requires a legal basis.

Theory — Proportional annual leave and pay in lieu 2026
Round annual part-time entitlement first, then proportionate months. Pay in lieu = base / (factor × employment fraction) / daily norm × remaining hours. Service must not overlap credited education. At 10 years the entitlement is 26 days, otherwise 20. Creditable periods changed in 2026: enter service confirmed under the rules applicable to the employer; do not automatically add all education and work years. Service mode takes the more favourable of total employment or employment outside education plus the completed education credit. Education credits are not added together. Confirmed business/mandate periods are added from the sector-specific 2026 date; exclude overlap with employment, other mandates and education. This does not replace ZUS evidence or an exact calendar-service assessment by HR.
