What do these numbers show?

Methodology
The model assumes that every combination of 5 numbers out of 50 is equally likely. A combination with spread d has a fixed smallest and largest number d apart, with the remaining numbers lying between them — so the number of such combinations is (pool − d) · C(d − 1, picks − 2), and the probability of spread d is that product divided by C(pool, picks). History is calculated from raw draw counts in the selected range; a range of years sums the yearly counts. When the model distribution is incomplete, the page shows the history without a comparison and puts a dash — not a zero — in place of the model value. The difference between averages is a description, not a statistical test — the page does not assess its significance. The histogram shows the data rendered when the page loaded; after changing the range, the current figures are in the tables.
