Reduced systems Mini Lotto
In Mini Lotto you pick 5 numbers out of 42. A system lets you play more numbers at once by splitting them into many bets. Below you can check what such a play costs and what it really guarantees.
Kaskada — coupon rules
In Kaskada a ticket holds two sets of 12 numbers from the range 1–24. Both sets are drawn at random.
The player picks no numbers and buys neither a full nor a reduced system. That is why we show no system calculator, cost table or guarantee for Kaskada.

Reduced system or budget set
Enter your numbers and how many different bets you can afford. We draw that many different 5-number bets from the full system of your numbers.

How to use this page
- Pick a game in the bar under the heading — the tables and the calculator recompute at once, with no page reload.
- In the „how many numbers you play” field set the system size. The „bets” column says how many tickets your pick splits into.
- The „cost” column multiplies the bets by the price of a single bet in that game.
- In the calculator below add a number of draws to see the spend over the whole period.
What this page does not do: It does not tell you which numbers to play and it does not compute the expected win — in every number game that is negative.

Reduced system
A classic reduced system is a covering layout: a chosen part of the full system for Mini Lotto (5 out of 42) that is proved to hold a lower-tier prize at a given number of hits. The budget set above is something else — a random subset of bets with no guarantee of any kind.
| Numbers | Bets | Cost | Full system | Guarantee |
|---|
Ready-made source-verified layouts are shown in the catalogue above. For Multi Multi you can also construct and verify a reduced system in your browser. Its condition is checked against every relevant subset; it is not a prediction or a promise of a prize tier. You can also draw a budget set without a guarantee or use the full system.
What a budget set does not do: it guarantees no prize at all — not the top prize and not a lower tier, even if every drawn number is among yours. Only a proven covering layout could promise a lower tier, and we do not publish one here. Leaving out bets means knowingly giving up part of the combinations for a lower price. The chance of the top prize falls in proportion to the bets you do not buy.
Cost calculator
Check what you will pay for the chosen system played over several consecutive draws. A single bet in Mini Lotto costs 2 PLN.
You will pay in total: 12 PLN
6 bets × 2 PLN × 1 draw
What the calculator does not do: it does not compute the expected win, because in every number game that is negative — payouts are a fraction of stakes. The amount above is a cost, not an investment. Treat it as spending on entertainment and play only with money you can afford to lose.
How shortened coverage works
In a full system you buy every possible combination from the chosen set of numbers. If you bet on ten numbers, you pay for every combination that can be made from them — including the ones that add nothing new. A shortened system picks a smaller group of bets from that set so that no case is left uncovered at the level the system declares. It's a combinatorics problem: the bets are arranged so that every possible pattern of matches contains at least one bet with the required number of shared numbers. The rest of the combinations are deliberately left out.
How to read the guarantee notation
The notation „a guaranteed four when five out of eight chosen numbers are drawn” has three parts, and each one means something. Eight is the numbers you chose. Five is the condition: that many of your numbers have to come up in the draw for the guarantee to apply at all. Four is the result: if the condition is met, at least one bet in the system will have four matches. The guarantee is dependent on the condition being met — it says nothing about whether five of your numbers will actually come up. If only four come up, the system promises nothing, and the result depends entirely on how the combinations happened to fall. The guarantee doesn't scale up either: with six out of eight matched you're still only guaranteed a four, even though in practice you'll usually get more. Only a layout checked with a proof carries such a notation. The budget set on this page has no such notation and guarantees nothing.
How it differs from a full system
The trade-off is measurable and comes down to one sentence: you give up the certainty of a full match in exchange for a lower bill. In a full system, if every drawn number is among yours, the top prize is certain — because you bought every combination, including the right one. In a shortened system that certainty is gone: you can have the complete set of numbers among your chosen ones and still not have a bet that brought them all together. The guarantee then drops one or two tiers lower. The proportions can be steep — shortening can cut the number of bets several times over while lowering the guarantee from a full match down to a four. You can check the bet count and cost of a full system on the full systems page — before you decide which variant suits you.
When shortened makes sense, and when it doesn't
A shortened system makes sense when you want to bet on more positions than a standard ticket, and a full system for that many positions goes beyond the budget you're willing to spend. In that case shortening is an honest solution: you're knowingly buying less, knowing exactly what you didn't buy. It doesn't make sense in two situations. First: when the game's pool is small and the full system turns out cheaper than any sensible shortened version — in that case shortening saves nothing. Second: when the shortened system is meant as a way to bet on more positions for the same money in the hope it will change something. It won't. Three bets are three bets, whether you picked them with a system or with the quick pick generator. If the budget is tight, it's simpler and more transparent to play fewer bets at full stake. After the draw, use the coupon checker — with a dozen or more bets, checking by hand takes longer than it's worth.
Frequently asked questions about reduced systems
- Does the guarantee in a shortened system mean a sure win?
- No. The guarantee is conditional and applies only when a given number of your numbers have actually been drawn. If the condition isn't met, the system guarantees nothing. There's no certainty that any of the chosen numbers will come up at all.
- Why doesn't a shortened system guarantee the top prize?
- Because by definition it doesn't contain every combination. You can have the full set of drawn numbers among your chosen ones and still not hold the one bet that brought them together — that particular pattern was among the combinations left out when shortening.
- How much cheaper is a shortened system than a full one?
- It depends on the number of chosen positions and on how low a guarantee you're willing to accept. The lower the guaranteed tier, the stronger the shortening and the smaller the bill. We currently publish no ready-made layouts with a guarantee, because none of them has been verified with a proof. On this page you can draw a budget set — the number of different bets you choose from the full system — but such a set guarantees no prize of any tier.
- Does a shortened system change the probability of winning?
- The probability for a single bet is unchanged and depends solely on the rules of the game. A larger number of bets means proportionally more attempts — exactly the same as the same number of bets filled in in any other way.
- Can I build my own shortened system?
- Yes, but working out the minimum coverage for a given guarantee is a hard computational problem, and for larger sets an optimal solution isn't always known. A guaranteed layout has to be checked case by case before it can be presented as certain. The budget set on this page is a random subset of bets, not such a layout.
What is reduced in Mini Lotto
Start with every five-number combination from your selected set. A full system of 7 numbers has C(7, 5) = 21 bets; 8 numbers give C(8, 5) = 56. A reduced system uses part of that list. Fewer bets mean lower cost and different coverage of possible outcomes.
How to read a layout condition
A guarantee applies to a specific bet list and a stated condition on hits inside your selected set. Read both: how many drawn numbers must be in the set, and how many matches at least one bet will then have. A coverage guarantee does not guarantee that the condition will occur in a draw.
A budget set is not a guaranteed layout
In budget mode you choose the number of distinct bets, and the tool samples that many five-number combinations from the full list. This is a random subset with no guaranteed match count. Compare the table, save CSV or print it. Calculations and historical numbers do not predict the next Mini Lotto result.
Frequently asked questions about reduced systems
- Does every Mini Lotto reduced system guarantee three matches?
- No. A guarantee belongs only to a specific bet list checked against all outcomes meeting its stated condition. A random budget set does not have such a guarantee.
- Are all five-number bets from 7 numbers still a reduced system?
- No. All 21 distinct bets form a full system, because C(7, 5) = 21 covers every five-number combination from that set.
- Can I use the list without spending money?
- Yes. Compare combinations and observe history as a simulation. Generating or printing a list does not purchase any bets.
