Theory — how is work time with breaks calculated?
The calculator adds up hours from multiple shifts, including overnight shifts, after subtracting breaks. For example, a shift from 08:00 to 16:00 lasts 8 hours, and after subtracting a 30-minute break it leaves 7 hours and 30 minutes. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes the shift ends the next day. Identical start and end times count as zero hours, not a full day.
