The basic rules Mini Lotto game are clear and simple, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to choose "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

The bet costs are identical regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. As for this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total sum of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the draw no five fell, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%.
