History of the game Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first draw took place at the end of March 1976. At that time the game was known as Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the rules did not change, and to this day players will try to win the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for several months, but relatively quickly returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. What does not mean at all, that the game is less exciting. On the contrary, in Mini Lotto you win smaller amounts but much more often. The main rules Mini Lotto game are simple and clear, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for a very wide group. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the appropriate place on the form.

In the case of Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from six to twelve numbers, from general pool of forty-two. The chances of hitting increases significantly with each subsequent number, because the total number of simple bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example a system of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 it is as many as 792. During system play the amount of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Basic bet for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is the same for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary point. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or choosing the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Everyone probably plays mainly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore with each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives fifty percent of the total prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the specific draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%.
