The basic rules Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. To increase the winnings playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto installed on phones. One bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is the same regardless of the method of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. As for this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, for this reason for each draw it will vary.
