History of the game Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first draw was held on March 31 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the main rules remained unchanged, and to this day interested players can try to win the prize for the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it is still very popular, despite the fact, that the highest winnings are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prizes are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 100 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Initially all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2015 they are held every day. People play to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The prize pool is half of the sum of all bets, for this reason for each draw it may have a different amount. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was about 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many winnings of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
