It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for two years, and then returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great popularity, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and clear, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the application Lotto on smartphones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the access to the personal account. The simplest bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical for every method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. All players play mainly to win something - so it is good to learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%.
