Complete history Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first of the official draws took place in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo was present until 2009. Although the name changed the rules did not change, and to this day interested players regularly try to win the prize for the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, after which returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest prizes are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The main rules game in Mini Lotto are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto installed on phones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have access to the internet. Another benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there are options to check the history, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from 6 to 12 numbers, from the available forty-two. The probability of winning increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of simple bets, which result from the combinations of the chosen numbers. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. During system play the value of the prize is increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Basic bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, dedicated application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Everyone probably plays mostly to win - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, for this reason in each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the given draw a five did not fall, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
