The main rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the paper form you can indicate up to ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player's account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to browse the history, and withdrawals and deposits of money. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, smartphone application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. As for system play the final fee will depend on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2015 they are held throughout the week. All players play mostly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of bets paid by players, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the specific draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
