The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be selected, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the special application Lotto installed on smartphones. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2015 they are held every day.
