The main rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is marking five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the special application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there is an option to see the history, and deposits and withdrawals of money. Very useful is the subscription, which during its activity allows participation in the certain number of subsequent games.

Some players like to play the same numbers or sets of numbers. Such players often use the option "play again", which allows generating the same ticket as the previous one. Players Mini Lotto do not have to limit themselves only to simple bets, to increase their chances of winning a prize they can use system play. For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from six to twelve numbers, from general pool of forty-two. The chances of winning increases significantly with each additional number, because the total number of simple bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example a system of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 it will be as many as 792. During system play the value of the prize is increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

The simplest bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Everyone probably plays to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the sum of all bets, therefore for each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the draw a five did not fall, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
