History of the game Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first official draw took place in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called Express Lotek, and under this name it ran until 2009. The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On one form you can indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and in the application Lotto on smartphones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have access to the internet. The probability of winning increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of individual bets, which result from all existing combinations. For example 6 numbers in the system will translate into 7 simple bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. With system play the prizes are multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

One bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be provided. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Players play mostly to win - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of paid bets, for this reason in each draw it will probably have a different amount. If there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%.
