The main rules game in Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to 100 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have the internet. Another benefit of this type of play is the access to the individual account. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it is as many as 792. The simplest bet in the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held daily. All players play mostly to win some money - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably be different. For the draw in which there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives fifty percent of the total prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes 60%.
