Complete history Mini Lotto is already over 4 decades - the first of the official draws took place in the last days of March 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form was present until 2009. Despite the name change the main rules did not change, and to this day players systematically try to win the money for the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for two years, but later returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for one bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The main rules Mini Lotto game are uncomplicated and simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and in the dedicated application Lotto on smartphones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all bets, there are options to see the earlier history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. It is also useful the subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from 6 to 12 numbers, from general pool of forty-two. The probability of hitting increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of individual bets, which result from all existing combinations. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it is as many as 792. With system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

One bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be provided. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. All players play mostly to win some prize - so it is good to learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of bets paid by players, for this reason for each draw it will probably be different. For the draw in which there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the specific draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest.
