History of the game Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first draw was held in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo was present until 2009. Despite the name change the main rules did not change, and still all players regularly try to win the money for the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, and then returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prizes are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. What does not mean at all, that the game is less exciting. On the contrary, in Mini Lotto you win smaller amounts but much more often. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the special place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have access to the internet. Another benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to browse the history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. Very useful is the so-called subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

As for Mini Lotto with system play you can mark from 6 to 12 numbers, from general pool of forty-two. The chances of hitting increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of simple bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. With system play the value of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

One bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same for all methods of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, smartphone application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held daily. Players play mainly to win something - so it is good to learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the sum of bets paid by players, therefore in each draw it will vary. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the given draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
