Complete history of the game Mini Lotto is over forty years - the first official draw was held on the last day of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the rules remained unchanged, and to this day players regularly try to win the prize for the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for several months, but later returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great popularity, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The basic rules Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for some point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of solution is the access to the personal account. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Probably everyone plays to win some money - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore for each draw it may have a different amount. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the specific draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
