The main rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a very wide group. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

In the initial period all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, therefore in each draw it will probably be different.
