The main rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for practically every player. Tickets can be sent at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Single bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical regardless of the method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In 2014, in April they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Probably everyone plays mainly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the prize is a five, four, and three, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, therefore with each draw it will probably be different. For the draw in which there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. But if in the given draw a five was not drawn, then the fours will have 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
