History of the game Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first official draw was held in March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. It should also be mentioned, that the game in Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, and then returned under player pressure. The main rules Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the indicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and in the application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of solution is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there is an option to check the history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. It is also useful the so-called subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the certain number of subsequent games.

In the case of Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between six and twelve numbers, from general pool of 42. The probability of hitting increases significantly with each subsequent number, because the total number of simple bets, which result combinations of chosen numbers. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 individual bets, and for 12 numbers it is as many as 792. During system play the value of the prize is increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

One bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for all methods of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held daily. Probably everyone plays to win - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of paid bets, for this reason in each draw it may vary. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the total prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the given draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many winnings exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
