The main rules game in Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto installed on phones. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. In this game the prize is a five, four, and three, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of bets paid by players, for this reason in each draw it may vary. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the specific draw there is no five, then the fours will have 40% of the pool, and the threes 60%.
