Complete history Mini Lotto is over four decades - the historical draw took place at the end of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this name was present until 2009. Despite the name change the basic rules did not change, and to this day all players can try to win the money for the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this exciting game was suspended in 1998 for two years, after which it returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest winnings are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. The basic rules Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five from the group 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On the form indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the application Lotto installed on phones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have internet access. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 simple bets, 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it is as many as 792. In the case of system play the amount of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Basic bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical regardless of the method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

In the initial period draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Players play mostly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The entire prize pool is half of the sum of all bets, for this reason in each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the given draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%.
