The main rules Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a very wide group. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a place with a point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have access to the internet. For example a system of 6 numbers will translate into 7 simple bets, 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. People play mostly to win - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, therefore for each draw it will probably have a different amount. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the specific draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many winnings exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
