History Mini Lotto is over forty years - the first draw was held at the end of March 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. It should also be mentioned, that the game in Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but relatively quickly it returned under player pressure. The basic rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On one form you can indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have the internet. The chances of winning increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of simple bets, which result from the combinations of the chosen numbers. For example a system of 6 numbers translates into 7 simple bets, 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it is as many as 792. During system play the prizes are increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

The simplest of bets in the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for every method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, dedicated application or stationary point. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held throughout the week. People play mainly to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The prize pool is exactly half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore for each draw it will probably have a different amount. For the draw in which there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. When in the draw a five did not fall, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and was about 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
