The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be typed, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at all stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything anywhere, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of play is the access to the individual account. The bet costs are the same regardless of the method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the first years all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Players play mostly to win - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore for each draw it may vary. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest.
