The main rules Mini Lotto game are uncomplicated and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On the paper form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and in the application Lotto installed on phones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. The bet costs are identical for every method of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

In the initial period draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held throughout the week. Players play mostly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives fifty percent of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the entire rest.
