The main rules Mini Lotto are simple and clear, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for every player. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the special application Lotto installed on phones. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, composed of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. One bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for all methods of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Players play to win some money - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore for each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives fifty percent of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. But if in the draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest.
