At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo it ran until 2009. It should also be mentioned, that this exciting game was suspended in 1998 for two years, but relatively quickly returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for one bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The main rules Mini Lotto game are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the special application Lotto installed on phones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if you have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account all bets are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to check the history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. The chances of winning increases significantly with each of the additional numbers, because the total number of individual bets, which result from the combinations of the chosen numbers. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 numbers it is as many as 792. During system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

One bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the method random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

In the initial period all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2015 they are held throughout the week. Probably everyone plays mostly to win some money - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the available prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the draw no five fell, then the fours will have 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
