Complete history of the game Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first of the official draws was held in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form it ran until 2009. Although the name changed the main rules remained unchanged, and to this day players will try to win the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this exciting game was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The rules Mini Lotto game are clear and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be typed, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally playing Mini Lotto you can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the indicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the special application Lotto on smartphones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there is an option to see the earlier history, and withdrawals and deposits of money. It is also useful the subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

The bet costs are the same for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, smartphone application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In 2014, in April they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held throughout the week. Everyone probably plays mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, therefore for each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. If in the given draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was almost 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several winnings exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
