The main rules game in Mini Lotto are clear and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for every player. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the special place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. During the first years all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held daily. As for this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, for this reason in each draw it may vary. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. But if in the specific draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest.
