History Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first of the official draws took place at the end of March 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form was present until 2009. Despite the name change the main rules did not change, and to this day players can try to win the money for the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it is still very popular, despite the fact, that the highest prizes are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for one bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The main rules Mini Lotto game are simple and clear, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at stationary points, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

The bet price is the same for all methods of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, phone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. Players play mainly to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it may vary. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. When in the draw there is no five, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the entire rest.
