History of the game Mini Lotto almost fifty years - the first of the official draws was held in March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form was present until 2009. Despite the name change the rules remained unchanged, and to this day all players will try to win the prize for the five by choosing from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for several months, but later returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest prizes are smaller than for example in traditional Lotto. Smaller prizes are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are extremely simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be selected, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On the form you can indicate up to 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and in the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play online and via the app has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have the internet. An additional benefit of this type of play is the access to the individual account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there are options to see the history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. It is also useful the so-called subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the subsequent games.

Some players like to play the same numbers or sets of numbers. Such players very willingly use the option "play again", which allows generating the same ticket as the previous one. Players in Mini Lotto do not have to limit themselves only to simple bets, to increase their chances of winning a prize they can use system play. In the case of Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between six and twelve numbers, from general pool of 42. The chances of winning increases significantly with each of the subsequent numbers, because the total number of individual bets, which result combinations of numbers, which are chosen. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 it is as many as 792. With system play the amount of the prize is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of higher tiers.

Single bet for the Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical regardless of the method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, smartphone application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held throughout the week. Everyone probably plays mainly to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The prize pool is exactly half of the total sum of paid bets, for this reason in each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. But if in the specific draw no five was drawn, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
