History Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first official draw was held in March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo was present until 2009. Although the name changed the basic rules remained unchanged, and to this day players can try to win the five by choosing from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that this exciting game was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the prize pools are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. What does not mean at all, that the game is less exciting. On the contrary, in Mini Lotto you win smaller amounts but much more often. The main rules Mini Lotto game are uncomplicated and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be typed, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at all stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form indicate up to 100 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and with the dedicated application Lotto on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. On this account are recorded all player bets, there are options to see the history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. Very useful is the subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the certain number of subsequent games.

Basic bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are identical for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. People play mostly to win - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably have a different amount. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. But if in the specific draw no five was drawn, then the fours will have 40% of the pool, and the threes the entire rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
