The main rules Mini Lotto game are simple and clear, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a very wide group. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this method all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the paper form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number from the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything anywhere, if you have access to the internet. An additional benefit of this type of solution is the individual player account. On this account all bets are recorded bets placed by players, there are options to browse the history so far, and deposits and withdrawals of money. It is also useful the subscription option, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 the bet costs 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. All players play mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of bets, therefore in each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the given draw no five was drawn, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was about 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
