Complete history of the game Mini Lotto almost fifty years - the first of the official draws was held at the end of March 1976. At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the basic rules remained unchanged, and to this day all players try to win the five drawn from 42 numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game in Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, after which returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest winnings are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. What does not mean at all, that the game is less exciting. On the contrary, in Mini Lotto you win smaller amounts but much more often. The main rules Mini Lotto are extremely simple, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a very wide group. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this solution all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the form indicate up to a maximum of ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the application Lotto installed on phones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of play is the access to the individual account. On this account are recorded all bets, there is an option to see the earlier history, and withdrawals and deposits of money. It is also useful the subscription, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

For Mini Lotto with system play you can mark between six and twelve numbers, from 42 from the general pool. The chances of winning increases significantly with each subsequent number, because the total number of individual bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers translates into 7 single bets, a 7-number system will be 21 individual bets, and in the case of 12 it will be as many as 792. During system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

The simplest of bets in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical for every method of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, dedicated application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to marking numbers on the form by hand or the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Players play mostly to win some money - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the winnings are fives, fours, and threes, in proportions established by the regulations. The entire prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it may vary. When there are prizes in each category, then for the only fives fifty percent of the available prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the given draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes 60%.
