Complete history of the game Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first official draw was held on March 31 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this logo it ran until 2009. Despite the name change the basic rules remained unchanged, and to this day players can try to win the money for the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game in Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but later returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it is still very popular, despite the fact, that the prizes are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. Smaller winnings are due to the fact, that the stakes are smaller for one bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and clear, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, and you can also decide to bet "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the special place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and in the application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for a place with a point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have the internet. An additional benefit of this type of solution is the access to the personal account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to see the history, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. With 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since early December 2015 they are held every day. People play mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. As for this game the prize is a five, four, and three, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, therefore for each draw it will vary. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. But if in the given draw a five was not drawn, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
