Complete history Mini Lotto is over four decades - the first of the official draws took place in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this name was present until 2009. Although the name changed the main rules remained unchanged, and to this day players can try to win the money for the five by choosing from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but relatively quickly it returned under player pressure. As it turns out, it still enjoys great popularity, despite the fact, that the prizes are smaller than for example in standard Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for single bets, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the drawn numbers and the number of balls. The rules Mini Lotto are extremely simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that the game is generally available for a wide group of players. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On the form you can indicate up to ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance can be marked in the indicated place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the special application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything anywhere, if only have access to the internet. Another benefit of this type of solution is the access to the individual account. On this account are recorded bets placed by players, there is an option to see the history, and withdrawals and deposits of funds. It is also useful the subscription option, which until it expires allows participation in the pool of subsequent games.

One bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical for every method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the Lotto.pl site, smartphone application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand marking numbers on the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be provided. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

In the initial period draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is every two days, from Tuesday to Saturday. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2015 they are held every day. All players play mostly to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions established by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the sum of bets paid by players, for this reason in each draw it will probably be different. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the given draw there is no five, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes in an amount greater than 300 thousand PLN.
