The basic rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that case they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on smartphones. Play via the app and online has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything anywhere, if only have access to the internet. The probability of winning increases significantly with each number marked, because the total number of simple bets, which result from all possible combinations. For example a system consisting of 6 numbers will translate into 7 single bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and in the case of 12 it is as many as 792. During system play the amount of prizes is multiplied, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added of other tiers.

Basic bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is identical for all methods of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the option random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost will depend on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

At the very beginning all draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. All players play to win something - so it is worth learning something more on this subject, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a five, four, and three, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is half of the total amount of bets, therefore for each draw it will probably be different. If there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, and for the threes and fours respectively 30% and 20%. If in the given draw a five did not fall, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many winnings exceeding 300 thousand PLN.
