History of the game Mini Lotto is already over 40 years - the first official draw took place in the last days of March 1976. At that time the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and under this name it ran until 2009. Although the name changed the rules did not change, and to this day interested players systematically try to win the five drawn from forty-two numbers. It should also be mentioned, that the game Mini Lotto was suspended in 1998 for two years, but quite quickly returned under player pressure. As statistics show, it still enjoys great interest, despite the fact, that the highest winnings are smaller than for example in Lotto. Smaller prize pools are due to the fact, that players pay a smaller stake for placing a bet, and due to the higher probability of winning which results from the number of balls and the drawn numbers. The main rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, resembling those known to many people from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is marking five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game will be available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at stationary points, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the registration machine. On one form you can indicate up to 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto players can use the so-called Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

All bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Single bet in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is the same regardless of the method of its conclusion - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary outlet. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. With system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Players play to win some money - so it is good to learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The entire prize pool is exactly half of the sum of all bets, for this reason for each draw it will vary. When there are prizes in each category, then for the fives fifty percent of the total prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%.
