The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are uncomplicated and simple, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and in that situation they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the device in the point. On the paper form you can indicate up to ten bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of paid forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed through the Lotto.pl site and in the application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for the nearest point, because you can do everything anywhere, if only have internet access. An additional benefit of this type of play is the individual player's account. On this account all bets are recorded placed bets, there is an option to see the earlier history, and deposits and withdrawals of funds. The simplest bet in the case of Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet costs are the same for all methods of its placement - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the option random selection by device. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option costs an additional 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final fee depends on how many numbers will be selected. In the case of 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

During the first years draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since April 14, 2014 they were extended to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and since December 2, 2015 they are held throughout the week. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, for this reason with each draw it may vary.
