At that period the game was called differently, namely Express Lotek, and in this form was present until 2009. The basic rules Mini Lotto are clear and simple, they are very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five out of 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for practically every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every place. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On one form you can indicate up to a maximum of ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the additional Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed online and via the dedicated application Lotto installed on phones. Play in digital form has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything from anywhere, if only have internet access. Another benefit of this type of play is the individual player account. For example 6 numbers in the system translates into 7 simple bets, consisting of 7 numbers will be 21 single bets, and for 12 numbers it is as many as 792. During system play the prizes are increased, because besides the one from hitting the most numbers an additional amount is added from the higher tiers.

One bet for Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can play for an amount up to 400 thousand PLN. The bet price is the same regardless of the method of its purchase - it doesn't matter if it is the online service, Lotto application or stationary point. It will not change due to hand filling the form or choosing the method random selection by machine. Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. In the case of system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be provided. With 6 for the bet you will have to pay 9 PLN, in the case of 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

For the initial period all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as the standard draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held every day. Probably everyone plays mostly to win some prize - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prize pool looks like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a five, four, and three, in proportions recorded in the regulations. The entire prize pool is exactly half of the total amount of bets, therefore in each draw it may vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives 50% of the total prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. If in the specific draw no five fell, then the fours receive 40% of the pool, and the threes the rest. The highest amount so far was in 2015, and its amount was over 366 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been many prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
