It should also be mentioned, that this popular game was suspended in 1998 for several months, but later returned under player pressure. The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are simple and uncomplicated, very similar to those known from Lotto. The main difference is the total number of numbers to be marked, one bet is indicating five from the group 42. There are three ways to place bets, which ensures that the game will be available for a wide group of players. Tickets can be sent at any stationary point, which can be found in every locality. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to bet on the method "quick pick". With this way all numbers are randomly selected by the machine in the point. On the paper form indicate up to ten single bets, there are no restrictions related to the number of registered forms. Additionally when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number placed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the appropriate place on the form.

Bets in Mini Lotto can also be placed on the Lotto.pl site and with the application Lotto on smartphones. Electronic play has many advantages, you don't have to look for a stationary point, because you can do everything regardless of the place, if you have the internet. For example a system of 6 numbers translates into 7 simple bets, a 7-number system will be 21 single bets, and for 12 numbers it will be as many as 792. The simplest of bets in Mini Lotto costs only 1.5 PLN, and you can even play up to 400 thousand PLN. It will not change due to hand filling the form or the method "quick pick". Expanding the ticket with the Super Chance option additionally costs 2 PLN. As for system play the final cost depends on how many numbers will be marked. In the case of 6 the bet will cost 9 PLN, with 7 - 31.50 PLN, and for 12 - 1188 PLN.

Initially all draws Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In 2014, in April they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held throughout the week. Everyone probably plays mainly to win some money - so it is worth learning something more about it, how the prizes look like in Mini Lotto. In this game the prize is a three, four, and five, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is exactly half of the total sum of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will vary. For the draw in which there are prizes in all categories, then for the only fives fifty percent of the prize pool is allocated, and for the fours and threes respectively 20% and 30%. If in the draw a five did not fall, then the fours receive 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest. The highest win so far was in 2015, and its amount was close to 400 thousand PLN, in the past there have also been several prizes of a value greater than 300 thousand PLN.
