The basic rules game in Mini Lotto are clear and simple, similar to those known to players from Lotto. The main difference is the number of numbers to be marked, one bet is selecting five out of 42. There are three methods to place bets, which ensures that this game is generally available for every player. You can send your ticket at any stationary point, which can be found in practically every city. You can either mark your numbers yourself, and then they will be read and written on the ticket, you can also decide to choose "quick pick". In this case all numbers are randomly selected by the registration device. On the form you can indicate up to a maximum of 10 single bets, there are no restrictions related to the total number of forms. To increase the winnings when playing Mini Lotto you can use the Super Chance, i.e. participating in an additional draw of a 7-digit number printed on the ticket. The Super Chance is marked in the dedicated place on the form.

During the first years draws of the Mini Lotto were held exactly the same, as draws Lotto, that is on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Since mid-April 2014 they were extended to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and since December 2, 2015 they are held daily. As for this game the winnings are threes, fours, and fives, in proportions given by the regulations. The total prize pool is fifty percent of the total amount of paid bets, therefore in each draw it will probably be different. When there are prizes in all categories, then for the fives 50% of the prize pool is allocated, for the fours 20% and the threes 30%. When in the draw there is no five, then the fours will have 40% of the total pool, and the threes the rest.
